Scottish Parliament Statistics 2021-2022 - 1.4.1. Presiding Officers
On 17 March 2020 the Parliament agreed to move motions S5M-21383 to S5M-21386 on the suspension and variation of Standing Orders to allow the election of an additional Deputy Presiding Officer. This was in response to the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and continued in place until the end of Session 5.
