Over 40 000 people with palliative and end of life care needs die each in year in Scotland. The Cross Party Group on Palliative Care was originally established shortly after the Scottish Parliament itself, and provides a valuable forum for engagement with MSPs and an ongoing dialogue with the sector about how to improve palliative and end of life care.
