They think that it is long overdue that some form of Government in the UK addresses the question of no-fault compensation.The minister said that he wanted a compensation scheme for the majority, rather than for the few. That is a very new Labour phrase, if I may say so. However, that lofty aspiration is ruled out by the current system because only those who can prove negligence get compensation and that means that only the few get compensation, regardless of whether they need it.
