I will speak briefly about the background to this issue, which I hope will be helpful to members. The regulations introduce new levels of planning fees, which—if they are approved by the committee—will come into effect on 1 June.
Members will recall that amendment 148 brought together into one new section requirements for all those acting under the bill to repay with interest to the adult the funds that they had misused.
