Although the Food Standards Agency says that it "does not rule out" the possibility of providing transposition notes, we should insist on—and indeed expect—such notes at every available opportunity and wherever appropriate. They have said repeatedly and quite clearly that the level of cross-pollination is absolutely minuscule and that it is not a threat to health or to the environment. I believe that, when we get such independent scientific advice, it is wrong for the Parliament to try to cross-check or cross-guess it.
