In 2002-03, the latest year for which figures are available for tertiary education, the Executive funding provided to the Scottish Further and Higher Education Funding Councils and the Student Awards Agency for Scotland totalled £4,677 per student enrolment for higher education institutions and £1,259 per student enrolment for further education colleges.
