The committee is keen to ensure that the process of finalising those documents is inclusive, robust and open, and that it makes best use of local knowledge and expertise.
Thank you for allowing me to attend.The petition raises general policy issues but emerged from what happened with the planning application for the new Uddingston grammar school. The school is being relocated to a functional flood plain.
Mr Swinney might believe that the best way to show leadership and to influence decisions is to bully and expel people, but that is not the way that things happen in the real world.
(S1F-799) The main priorities for the Scottish Executive will be laid out in the new programme for government, which will be announced in the near future.
That is a view that I think is shared by the Scottish people. At the start of this new Parliament, the best way to ensure stability and consistency in government is to look at what unites the parties in this chamber, not at what divides them.
