To ask the Scottish Executive what arrangements are in place to audit the progress of projects funded under the New Housing Partnership. These are set out in a letter issued to councils on 15 July 1999.

There is no pre-defined policy. The options for the route of a new motorway are judged against the Governments five assessment criteria of Integration, Economy, Safety, Environment, and Accessibility.
To ask the Scottish Executive what costs have been incurred by Hairmyres Hospital on external consultants and advisers in each year since consideration of PFI/PPP as a funding method for the new building began. This is a matter for NHS Lanarkshire.The information is not held centrally.
