That the Parliament agrees that the Communities Committee be designated as the lead committee in consideration of the Schools (Health Promotion and Nutrition) (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1.
The final document that is highlighted is the green paper on promoting healthy diets and physical activity, which will—of course—go to the Health Committee.
Proposed new section 4A(4) states:"If a trustee reasonably concludes that in all the circumstances it is unnecessary".It is up to the trustee to take that view.
Although we have not reached a final decision on what scheme to promote, I think that it is extremely unlikely that we will promote a scheme for workplace parking in Edinburgh.
