Where there are good ideas—I say that not just for when we are discussing the budget, but for any Government portfolio area—he will find that my door is open. Gillian Mackay made the best speech of the afternoon, and I was delighted to hear her point about corrosive political discourse.
The debate is about what we can do to try to move forward, and we have talked about that. I appreciate some of the points that have been raised, but there has to be a balance in the debate as we take it forward.
