To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on the level of funding devoted to infertility services by each health board. The latest available figures on amounts spent by Health Boards on infertility services are given in the report of the Expert Advisory Group on Infertility Services in Scotland, which was published in February 2000.

The Scottish Executive does not forecast inflation. For reference, the latest HM Treasury forecast for inflation, covering the period to 2003, was published in Building Long-Term Prosperity for All: Pre-Budget Report (November 2000).
They will also have received from the clerks a note setting out a proposed approach.As members can see, the schedule is incredibly tight because of Christmas and the new year, but we will want to take ministerial evidence on the matter.
