To ask the Scottish Executive what financial contribution will be required by NHS Tayside to facilitate delivery of healthcare services by the private sector at Stracathro Ambulatory Diagnostic Treatment Centre.
The Scottish Executive is not aware of any challenge made within any EU state in respect of the application of a Public Service Obligation (PSO) to any air route.

The new GMS contract came into effect on 1 April 2004. It requires GPs to provide services for asthma patients, and people with other chronic diseases, which include ongoing treatment for their specific needs and referral to specialist services as appropriate.
