To ask the Scottish Executive how many new jobs forecast by projects supported by Locate in Scotland between April 1998 and April 1999 have so far been created.
Surely that would be sufficient and appropriate? The new power will mean that the police will have to go to a sheriff and say that they have cause to believe that a crime has been committed.
Are we imposing adequate requirements on new developments, to ensure that they have waste management strategies in place as part of an environmental impact assessment?
The stakeholders responsible for following the regulations will be made aware of the anomaly by the Scottish Public Pensions Agency clarifying the position in the circular that is due to be issued shortly to accompany and explain the new regulations.Are members happy for that information to be passed on to the lead committee and the Parliament?
