To ask the Scottish Executive what match funding was provided by NHS boards for projects concerning domestic abuse in the last year for which figures are available. The Domestic Abuse Service Development Fund administered by the Scottish Executive Justice Department provides £6 million over four years to strengthen local services, of which £79,000 currently supports seven projects where all or part of the matched funding is provided by an NHS board.

To ask the Scottish Executive what steps are being taken to ensure that the port of Rosyth will not become a gateway for illegal drugs imports following the introduction of the proposed ferry service between Rosyth and Zeebrugge. Fife Constabulary, in discussion with other enforcement agencies, is taking steps to ensure that, following the introduction of the proposed ferry service, a commensurate level of policing would be in place at the port to counter the assessed threat posed by criminal and other interests.

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-14638 by Malcolm Chisholm on 12 April 2001, how it will monitor the implementation of the recommendations made in Sensing Progress. Social Work Services Inspectorate will monitor what progress has been made by local authorities in implementing the recommendations made in Sensing Progress through their annual visits to all local authorities in Scotland and the Chief Inspector of Social Work Services will record this in his annual report.

I am awaiting the report of a broadly-based working group, including the Scottish Legal Aid Board among other organisations, which I set up to consider how a community legal service might be developed for Scotland.
