Two weeks ago, the minister said that cost was not a factor in determining whether patients with MS are prescribed beta interferon.Will Susan Deacon explain why 52 people in greater Glasgow have been clinically assessed as requiring beta interferon, but have not been prescribed it because the funding has not been made available? Will she also explain why no new prescriptions for beta interferon have been issued in the Greater Glasgow Health Board area since November 1998?
