We have heard that we have waited for 40 years; we could surely wait until after the summer if that would mean the difference between getting it right and getting it wrong.
There are serious problems about prolonged delays in people getting to chronic pain clinics. I hope that this is an area in which the Executive, as part of its new programme of waiting times, will indicate that it will set some targets.
The matter has been discussed with Bruce Robertson and others, and there will be further announcements soon, because we must get moving with that new stage in the appeal process.
