Glasgow is a centre for Scotland in providing many of the services that we have all come to respect and rely on. There is no mystery or new thinking here. We are simply using our existing processes in respect of patient flow to ensure that the patient, who is at the heart of the matter, gets the choice so that patients from Helensburgh can get to Glasgow if that is what they want.To reinforce that, I am placing a number of requirements on the boards in taking forward their new responsibilities.
