All the staff—wherever they come from—should understand that they are entering a new organisation. A lot of thought should perhaps be given to ensuring that the new organisation has the right kind of culture and that the staff accept the cultural change.The final points centred again on the idea that all four organisations should have parity within the new organisation.

The Executive does not holdinformation on the costs of house buying over time. Research conducted in 2002suggested that the average cost of house buying in Scotland,excluding Stamp Duty was £1,377 at that time.
Most services are delivered through the voluntary sector and they often use volunteers. When we visited the Hamilton contact centre, the two women on the door were volunteers.
There are more than 7 million page visits to our websites and millions of people worldwide see Scotland's cultural heritage through the items that we lend to institutions throughout the world, as far away as Australia, for example.
If Fergus Ewing would find it helpful, I would be happy to include a definition of fox baiting in section 7. Most people have a fair understanding of what baiting is—it is putting two animals in a situation in which they are encouraged to fight.

Bill Butler is right to refer to the success of the Edinburgh project. When I visited it recently to open the new mediation rooms, I was impressed not only with the dedication of the volunteers who were there, but with the effectiveness of the scheme.
