It is of interest and it is overdue, but I am not sure what legal aspects of the bill we might have to consider. Any bill that creates significant new offences tends to get referred to the justice committees.
I have not had time to read the whole letter, but apparently Fiona Henderson has new information on the issue. The letter will be taken into account and will come before the committee when we receive the response from the Executive.
