To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will report on the outcome of the British-Irish Council summit held at New Lanark on 22 November 2002. On 22 November, Scotland hosted the fourth British-Irish Council summit meeting in New Lanark.
However, there are issues for us concerning how we deliver the best health care and how we deliver the best conditions for the staff in the health service.
I would be surprised if, in the three years, new issues and new challenges did not come out of the woodwork, which might mean demands for new funding contributions.
We would benefit from and would welcome examples of best practice from the other forums. It would be great if we could learn from such examples and put them into practice in our area.
I know that we do not have time to go into detail on every document, but this is the Community supposedly at its best in the area of humanitarian action.
