Let us be clear: it was the act of a terrorist. In the aftermath of this latest tragedy, it is important that we unite and work together to confront hatred in all its forms.
Will you at least give us a commitment that the response from the Government will be made on a sitting day—at the very latest, the response would be made on 26 September—and that you would make a statement to Parliament on the outcome of your decision?
