This is probably not an issue for today, but I disagree with the convener. The minister might get involved in a really big decision, such as on the closure of a hospital or the development of a new one.
There is nothing for the service industries. The rural economy will get a bit of help from broadband. We will put some extra money into that to ensure that it gets into rural areas.
Those pirates of the sea, the Crown Estate commissioners, would not get as much in wayleaves for an undersea cable as the lairds would get for pylons or for an underground system.I support Bruce Crawford's motion.
