At our away day, we discussed whether that was the best way to proceed. I recommend that we appoint reporters on age, disability, gender, religion and belief, race and sexual orientation.

To ask the Scottish Executive what specific action it has taken to use the Tartan Day celebrations in New York to attract people, particularly expatriate Scots, to live and work in Scotland.
There should be an understanding of how this committee can best work for the Scottish people. I am talking about the younger generation and an education programme.
