I suspect that there is not and that the proposal is fairly new. I understand the logic behind it and I am not getting at Margaret Curran, Jackie Baillie or any of their colleagues here by lodging amendment 433.
We are not talking about technicalities, but matters about which there is a serious dispute. The Parliament should be able to get stuck into those in an appropriate manner.
I made that point to the clerk, but we felt that I should not mess about with the meeting times without getting members' agreement. If the agenda allows us to start meetings at half past 10, I will endeavour to do that.
