Expenditure Commitments To ask the First Minister whether any existing expenditure commitments will be cut to pay for new commitments on health and education spending and, if so, what these are.
We have prepared draft guidance for local authorities, the existing regional transport partnerships, the new regional transport partnerships and people who might be members of the new RTPs.
One of those new members is Bruce Crawford. I welcome Bruce to the committee and thank Andrew Welsh for the excellent service that he gave to the committee since the election.
The taking of evidence from those petitioners has been scheduled for 24 September. That is in line with our new attempt to ensure that petitions link into our inquiry or legislative work.
We are highly dependent on the ONS for our economic and labour market statistics and we will have to work with the new board to ensure that strong and effective relationships continue.
