That would mean that the position would be clear for children or families who were subject to the new orders and who moved to Scotland during the adoption process.
We have no meeting next week; our next meeting will be in the new year. So that members of the public can note the date in their diaries, I advise them that the meeting should take place on 12 January.
In particular, I welcome Joanne Clinton, who is our new assistant clerk. She has joined Steve Farrell and Franck David to bring our whole-time equivalent staff up to 1.4.
We will consider the new order in a fortnight's time. The minister's letter will be relevant to our consideration of the new order, which has exactly the same policy intention as the order it replaces, which is revoked with effect from 22 January.I hope that members followed all that.
