It is solely a matter for Premier Prison Services, the operators of the prison. Staff turnover in the Scottish Prison Service was 4.4% in the year to 31 March 2001.
To ask the Scottish Executive how it will support Local Health Care Co-operatives in increasing the provision of directly managed services such as learning disabilities services, drug and alcohol services and community mental health teams.
The Ambulance Service is fully aware, however, that wherever revised methods of working are introduced, including in rural areas, they must ensure that services to patients are maintained.
Community mental health staff work closely with GPs, hospital physicians and community services (including those run by local authorities and voluntary organisations) to deliver services.
Legal staff currently employed in the Quality and Practice Review Unit comprise: Head of Unit, who is a member of the Senior Civil Service, and two Principal Deputes. All have more than 10 years service.
