To ask the Scottish Executive why the Scottish Prison Service Estates Review did not refer to the findings in respect of the operation of HM Prison Kilmarnock in the Report for 2000-2001 by HM Chief Inspector of Prisons.
The Support Group, the Scottish Health Advisory Service, the Social Work Services Inspectorate and others continue to visit and report on the local agencies' strategic and service responses to assessed needs.
The Framework for Mental Health Services in Scotland encourages all the care partner agencies involved in mental health to include carers and service users in the strategic planning process of the mental health services provided in their local area.
That shift in emphasis, allowing independence and a high level of service away from the residential home setting, will free up spaces for those who require care home service provision.
It is not necessary for GP practices to participate in the Quality and Outcomes Framework in order to provide safe services to the patient. The provision of services that are acceptable for patient safety is covered by the essential services element of the GMS Contract.
