People with Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders in Secure, Forensic and other Specialist Settings.The Scottish Prison Service Core Screening Process will identify those who require further specialist assessment.Services suitable for assessed needs will be provided through Psychological Services and alongside the contracted learning providers.The Scottish Prison Service is addressing each of the recommendations which involve prisoners with a learning disability.In relation to secure accommodation I refer the member to the answer given to question S2W-3928, answered on 19 November 2003.
To ask the Scottish Executive what additional training will be required for staff transporting sick babies as a result of the closure of the Queen Mother's Hospital as part of plans for the reconfiguration of maternity services in Greater Glasgow. The report of the Expert Groupon Acute Maternity Services (2002) makes it clear that professionalsat all levels of maternity care must have appropriate skills and competences forthe service they provide.

A liaison psychiatry and a selfharm service was established in 2000. An adolescent service is also availableand a children’s service is based at Yorkhill.

These projects provide a range of support including drop-in centres, day services, counselling services, information and advice, education and employment schemes, advocacy and befriending services.
