I thank the staff of the Scottish Parliament information centre for the informative briefings that they provided to committee members.Last and by no means least, I thank the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations for its determination to ensure that the bill came before Parliament and, more recently, for its assistance in facilitating pre-legislative visits.
