Am I right in assuming that the SQA is keen to be involved in new developments, but that sometimes some of the core work that it exists to do gets lost because of that?
It always strikes me as rather odd that when we get to stage 2 we are unable to pursue any recommendations for change—only the Executive can do that.
I invite Fergus Ewing and his SNP colleagues to go to Ardnamurchan and tell the people there, who are getting a new secondary school, that the SNP wants that school to be stopped because it is ideologically not acceptable.
