The Scottish Executive has no individual departmental targets set for its participation in the New Deal programme. The programme is managed centrally and as New Deal staff are cleared for appointment they are assigned directly into departments.

It will take a little time for the operation of the new building to settle down. It is a brand new building and factors such as visitor numbers are to an extent unpredictable.
Some board members are due to relinquish their positions in December. We want to get the new board and the new arrangements up and running as quickly as possible.
Electoral Administration Bill To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on what new duties the United Kingdom Electoral Administration Bill will place on electoral registration officers and to what extent the cost of performing these duties will be funded by the Executive.
Additionally, the definition includes the United Kingdom within its scope, but when it is used in new paragraph 9(a) of schedule 1 to the principal regulations, it excludes the UK from its scope.
