This work has been completed and has resulted in the publication today of the consultation document A Public Consultation on Policy for the Long-Term Management of Solid Low Level Radioactive Waste in the United Kingdom, copies of which have been placed in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (Bib. number 38918).

If one compares this to making concrete, where one takes proportions of sand, cement and water, we are dealing with a common unit: sand, for example. We are talking about a single unit.
We will pass the petition to the Enterprise and Culture Committee and ask the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport and the Scottish Arts Council for their views, which we will pass on to that committee.
