Members will recall that, at one of our meetings before the new year, we considered the Divorce etc (Pensions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2000, a defect in which was pointed out by the Subordinate Legislation Committee.
We have closed the larger burn site at Eastriggs and we will close the one at Hoddam on 28 April. Any new site will take full account of the new guidance.

The Scottish Executive has beenin regular discussion with the Scottish Funding Council on the current positionof James Watt College.Along with the Chair of the Scottish Funding Council and others, I visited the college only last week to hearfirst-hand about the college’s plans to address its difficulties.
