There is a perception that the regulatory authorities in Scotland—SEPA being an example—take some sort of delight in announcing and enforcing new regulations that, although they might have been imposed with the best possible intentions, do not offer any practical advice on implementation.
That is utterly irresponsible. The best way to deal with any allegation of law breaking elsewhere in the European Union in relation to contracts is to have it investigated properly.
