Although we have pointed out that defective drafting to the lead committee, it does not affect the substance of the instrument very much.The fourth point focused on how the new paragraphs in regulation 8 of the principal regulations interact with regulation 8(6) as amended.
We do not seem to have moved too far forward in the explanations that we have received about the four points either, so it is important that we also document those points for the lead committee.Members indicated agreement.
Discussions on thecontent of the report took place with RNIB on 26 March 2007.A stakeholder group meeting will be convened in May to considerthe report.

I wrote to all 32 Chief Executives on 26 October 2004 announcing the £6 million additional funding for aprogramme of educational support for looked after children and advising themthat pilot areas would be identified in consultation with COSLA.
