To ask the Scottish Government whether it plans to gather data in the future on universal credit split payment requests, including monitoring disclosures of domestic abuse, reasons for the request and the number of split payments being made.
However, the debate is about the future rather than the past. A number of members have talked about universities’ contribution to date, but it is vital that we talk about the future.
Does the cabinet secretary agree that there is a need for us to look again at how we can promote south-west Scotland as a visitor destination—in particular for wildlife and green tourism—including options for future landscape designations?
Number and average size of sites
In 2018 Scotland had 139 seafood processing sites (i.e. individual factories or facilities for processing fish), approximately 39% of the UK total.
I can say something about flows and durations in relation to universal credit. The data here is terrible. The department measures only the total time that someone has been on universal credit, although people may move in and out of work and in and out of different regimes during their time on universal credit.
I call Rhoda Grant to indicate whether she wishes to press or withdraw amendment 26. Beatrice Wishart wishes to press amendment 26A, and my withdrawing amendment 26 would prevent her from doing so.
