The report says that the committee has written to schools and that it appears that most schools provide water. I have visited only six of 32 local authority areas, which is a limited number, but in five of the areas that I have visited, water is unavailable.
I hope that some of it will be dealt with by the new building standards. It is very difficult to see how new buildings are not accessible because they are required to be, and they will be even more accessible under the guidance that will be introduced in 2007.
