Can I check that it will be recorded in the Official Report who voted which way, so that I do not have to say at this moment that I want it recorded in the Official Report that I think that we have taken the wrong decision?
It is disgraceful that women are criminalised in this activity and are unequal before the law. We are pleased to hear that the expert group will address that.
It is the same question as before, and we should raise the point in this instance, too. We will not bring in officials from the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department as well.
At the same time, we could also perhaps write to the Scottish Executive's national working group, giving it a copy of the Official Report of today's meeting and asking for its views on whether the arrangements are adequate, not just at the moment, but in the longer term.
We had an agreement that if any particularly urgent agenda items were coming up, the clerks would have informal discussions with Executive officials. I do not know whether such discussions have taken place on the items that we have requested.
