That brings us back to my serious concern about the fact that the temptation is always to delay big new public transport projects. There are always good reasons to hold back, but a delay now is also a delay at the end of the process, because it is difficult to catch up with a delay once it has happened.It is important for Scotland to proceed with our major new public transport projects, which have pretty wide cross-party support.
