I visited Aviemore and travelled along the A95 on 11 February 2002.Trunk roads are defined as nationally important routes that serve destinations of importance to industry, commerce, agriculture and tourism.
The deaf are just as interested in politics, current affairs and literature as any hearing people. When I was MP for Hamilton, I visited the deaf school, and the children then paid a visit to the House of Commons.
In Scotland, it was quite embarrassing not to be aware of some wonderful new scheme that was about to be implemented in England, even if it was not used in the end.
That was irresponsible to the patients using the service and the staff who were delighted with their new facility. There will be teething problems in every new building, whether it is one of the brand new buildings that are being built in Leith or the new Scottish Parliament.
