I hope that my colleagues in the Liberal Democrats will forgive me if I point out that it is unlikely that they will form the next Government at Westminster and that therefore that particular proposal is unlikely to be implemented.Both parties in the Executive are committed to employment opportunities and economic growth, and both parties are ensuring that young people—not only in the west of Scotland, as Des McNulty pointed out, but throughout Scotland—have the opportunities that the Conservatives and the nationalists want to run down but that we want young people to take, so that they stay in this country to make something of themselves and make something of their communities.
