To ask the Scottish Executive whether the Deputy Minister with responsbility for tourism intends to visit Moffat when he is in Dumfries & Galloway on 23 August 2000.
When I speak to individual councillors, they are impressed with the proposal. It is a nice, new, shiny idea that is being presented by a nice, new, shiny councillor and it has to be tested.
It will examine the use of the Commission's new consultation arrangements and how to ensure that the impact assessments on new legislative proposals are as useful as possible.
I am a member of Unison and the Educational Institute of Scotland.I will report to the committee, as none of the other members who were on the visit is here. We visited the Dundee city partnership and Scottish Enterprise Fife on 5 November.
