To ask the Scottish Executive whether Ministers fully reimburse the Consolidated Fund for any journeys taken in their Ministerial vehicles when visiting their constituencies or attending party political events.
Members have in front of them a cover note that identifies several petitions on which additional information is awaited, as well as current and new petitions that require to be considered today and which are listed on the agenda.
When the regulations that were supposed to come in last year do come in, the instrument will have to be revoked and replaced with a new one. I do not understand why we are doing that.
Perhaps the Executive will consider revisiting the instruments with a view to issuing a completely new set as soon as possible. We can certainly ask that the Executive does that.
