There has been a lot of discussion since the new chief executive and the new chairman came into post earlier this year about what the enterprise networks should focus on.
The capital cost, at 1995 prices, included £146 million for infrastructure, £36.4 million for 26new trams and £1.3 million for land purchase, coming to a total of £183 million.
I welcome the fact that the minister has met representatives of such schools and I will be happy to join him on his visit to Craighalbert, which must be the school he has not yet visited.

The UK raised the problems caused for Pakistan byrecent changes in the concessionary import terms applicable to Basmati rice.The Commission took note and reported that it was consulting with Pakistan andIndia over the latest information available on prices and varieties.
The Scottish Executive is not persuaded that bulk buying can significantly affect this. We are, however, open to innovative thinking and practical evidence that such schemes can offer worthwhile price cuts."

Margaret Smith would like to attend the visit, so it is only right and proper that, as for school visits, we invite parties with list members for the Lothians to send a representative, rather than have 20 representatives marching about the site.
