He calls on the Scottish Executive to"consider innovative ways in which businesses could support"the retained fire service sector, as well as "new mechanisms" for doing that. I do not see in his motion what innovative ways or new mechanisms he suggests.
The conveners group appears to be suggesting that the committee does not require to have a representative on the visit. I think, convener, that you can put a good case for our sending a representative.
