To ask the Scottish Executive what new crimes have been created since June 1999; how many persons have been charged under each of these crimes and, of these, how many have been convicted.
We have undertaken to update guidance to draw attention to the range of legal obligations that are most relevant to the sector and to issue new guidance to all existing schools and to new schools that seek registration.
Furthermore, the legislation will give partnerships access to some elements of the tax regime that they do not yet have. Do the new regulations mean that there will be other burdens for a new partnership under the Companies Act 1985?
That would be relevant to any report that we ultimately produce. So you seek an amplification of the points that are made in paragraph 8 of paper ED1/S2/06/1/1.
