Taking that in private would allow the experts who have been advising us on the inquiry to discuss what they have read of our visits and address the way forward for the inquiry.Item 5 on committee procedures is to allow committee members to have a go at the convener, or do whatever they want to do, in privacy.
I met with the Chinese Consul General, Mr Liu Jingxue on Thursday 11 March, where he raised the issue of the visit by His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet to the Scottish Parliament.
The Corporate Body was responsible for the resources used by the Parliament in supporting the visit to Aberdeen and it will wish to review how the exercise was managed and financed.
