All of this activity would not show up in recorded statistics in health visiting. The figures refer to the number of home visits made by health visitors and district nurses.
There is concern about the proposal to confer a new power on Scottish ministers to make remedial orders and about the consequential lack of opportunity to amend the orders.
It would be to the Parliament's credit, in bringing a new democracy to Scotland to start the new century, if we were to assert the fact that the Parliament is not just Edinburgh's, but Scotland's.
