Therefore, I propose to break down the debate on the first group into three mini-debates. The first debate will be on the new offence of paying for sexual services; the second debate will be on the new offences that relate to prostitution; and the third debate will be on the new offences relating to pornography.
The suggestion is that a copy of the latest letter from the minister's office should be passed to the petitioner for his information and that no further action should be taken, on the basis that most of the additional points that the petitioner raises have been answered in the minister's letter.
That is why we are here: it is to do with work force planning. The Executive wants 600 new consultants, 1,500 new allied health professionals and several thousand new nurses and midwives.
Several times, the Executive passes the buck to local authorities in a politically dishonest way, without providing the extra resources that local authorities require to employ new officers and new site managers and to develop new sites.
